JUSTXCHANGES

We partnered with The Clemente Center to create the visual identity for JUSTXCHANGES, a solidarity economy network in New York City. The initiative organizes the exchange of goods, assets, and services through a community currency, the New York Justx, piloted in the Lower East Side/Loisaida.

Our design approach centered on reflecting the project's mission to foster a more inclusive and equitable urban economy. The visual identity highlights the values of solidarity, mutual aid, and community empowerment, while incorporating design elements inspired by the cultural richness of the LES. The resulting identity communicates the innovative spirit of JUSTXCHANGES, supporting its goal to redefine economic relationships through justice and collaboration.
